Website poll says Richard Harris statue should be in People's Park printable version
14 May 2014 filed by editor - General A long running website poll reveals that a majority of voters consider that the statue of late actor and Limerick man Richard Harris should be in the People's Park.
Active since 4 April 2007 and on the newsmedianews.com website, to date the poll has recceived 350 votes.
Voters were asked 'Where should Richard Harris's statue be placed?' and were provided with three options:
1. In the People's Park: 62.00 % (217 votes)
2. Outside Parnell Street Railway Station: 27.71 % (97 votes)
3. Bedford Row (current location): 10.29 % (36 votes)
